see what you said there Movies and you comparing that to a series which can continue on the next episode? Besides i doubt tekken and its movies/series agree with everything from the game, just like all games outside media(novels, comic books, movies) is someone elses take on the story and are for the most part never consiered cannon (because its a retelling of the same story and not expanding on it). But besides any American-made Street Figher movie or media(which for obvious reasons want Guile as the hero USAUSAUSA) everything from Japan has matched up or was close enough. Watch the Street Fighter Animated Series or the Animated Movie for a better translation from the game. Not the American bullshit, im talking bout the japanese animated series. Also we shall see if your statement holds true when the Tekken live-action movie comes out, lol Hollywoods going to have fun with that. And I told you what Street fighter is about in my first post. Bison and his evil organization trying to take over, the tournament was made in order for him to find a better body to contain his psycho power. Most of the characters enter to test their skill(Ryu, Ken, Fei Long, E. Honda), avenge deaths (Guile, T.Hawk, Chun Li), to take down Shadowloo(Chun Li, Guile), fight for bison(Zangief, Cammy, Balrog, Vega), revenge (Sagat, Akuma). Ryu defeats Bison in every tournament. Bison has been through several bodies during SF Alpha and SFII, and this quest for bodies has created Cammy(genetic clone) and Seth along the way. Look at Seth and you can see Bison's face. Also the Seth in SF4 is the 15th version and was the only one that acted out on his own. This is the games story.
Dark Hado? U mean the evil energy that posessed Akuma and nearly did the same to Ryu. what's hard about that? It's self explanitory. And Shun is explained in the Alpha Movie what more do u need about him? And if you want more details and back story about the Dark Hado (or the SF story in general) SFA3 tells it the best with dialog and cutscenes. Because this for the most part is where for Ryu at least the Dark Hado begins and ends. No Evil Ryu in SFII, III, or IV.
Street Fighter is not a hard story to follow. It doesn't overly complex itself like some games *cough*Tekken*cough* with too many random characters.
Edit:
And I'll also say that the only games that are cannon are II, III, IV and the Alpha series. the other games are just spin-offs.
